VOB (Video Object) is the container format used inside the VIDEO_TS folder on every DVD disc. It stores MPEG-2 video with MP2 or AC3 audio in a structure that DVD players can read directly. Converting images to VOB creates DVD-ready video content from still photos — useful for creating photo slideshow DVDs, memorial discs, event compilations, and any content destined for playback on standalone DVD players.
